The Dramatic Benefits of Directed Heat Drying™
Faster Drying Reduces Costs
There are two phases to restoring any water loss; mitigation and reconstruction (remove and replace or repair). Mitigating a water loss costs a fraction of the cost of replacing expensive structural materials like carpet, walls, insulation, flooring, cabinets, etc. A loss that is not mitigated quickly will result in a huge increase in the cost to restore the property to pre-loss condition.
Faster Drying Prevents Secondary Damage
When water losses are not mitigated quickly and thoroughly enough they can lead to secondary damages. This most important secondary damage is mold growth with its attendant health hazards and increased liability for the property owners.
Other secondary damages may include: swelling of wood structural material, warping and cupping of of hardwood floors, damage to other materials and contents as they are continuously exposed to moisture.
|And in cases when you are dealing with either gray water (water that usually comes from your sink, dishwasher, shower, etc. drain pipes) or black water (most commonly sewage; but also is water that main contain harmful chemicals) there is a whole host of disease causing viruses, bacteria, and protozoa that can flourish and cause very serious illnesses.|
